Paper Star, Paper Star in a Jar

Sometimes, it is not easy to know what your purpose is and what you are worth, and sometimes, all it takes is a friend to enlighten you with some encouragement - even if you are a lucky star!

Immediately after our collaboration for Mighty Super Zero, Taylor, my niece, asked me to write another story for her to illustrate. She wanted a story about a star. I naturally thought about a paper star.

In our culture, presenting someone with a hand-folded paper star is a gesture of friendship, encouragement, and luck. We may know that - but does the paper star? This beautiful story will give your little ones a chance to understand that everyone has a purpose, and that theirs may be to be your lucky star!
